WGVBA is EXCITED to announce our tryout process for the 2023-2024 travel volleyball season! Please visit our Pre-Registration page to pre-register. Please note, you must pre-register in order to attend any of our pre-tryout clinics and the final tryout session.
You may pay your $25 nonrefundable tryout registration fee on the date of tryouts or at any of the pre-tryout clinics. WGVBA is only able to accept cash or checks at this time.
Tryouts Have Concluded for 4th Grade through 8th Grade. See below for our High School Schedule
Sunday November 5th open gym:
- 6:00pm-8:00pm 9th – 11th grade
Sunday November 12th open gym:
- 6:00pm-8:00pm 9th – 11th grade
Closed For School Break Sundays November 19th & 26th
Sunday December 3rd tryout schedule:
- 6:00pm-8:00pm 9th – 11th grade
This year, the following rules have been implemented for our continued use of the gym:
- Only players and coaches are allowed into the gym; parents, guardians, siblings, or other family members may not enter the gym for any reason
- Drop/off and pick/up must be in accordance with the School Police Officer directing our access
- No parking at any time in fire lanes
- The gym must be cleaned after every session; all athletes must participate in this process
- The gym doors will remain closed at all times. If coaches and staff are not monitoring the door or responding to phone calls/texts, you may miss your opportunity to participate. This is not a punishment for arriving late, but rather it is a part of a district wide safety protocol
- Athletes must bring their own water bottles with them and dispose of them when they are finished. No water will be provided by the school or WGVBA. Athletes do not have permission to take any waters stored by the school
- Athletes must stay confined to the gym. No athlete is permitted to access any other part of the campus.
We must all cooperate to ensure we can continue the privileges of using the school facilities!
