2024-2025 Announcements!

Tryouts: Tryouts have been scheduled for Saturday, November 16th. For anyone who cannot attend, make-up sessions have been scheduled for Sunday, November 17th/ Please visit our Uvalde Tryout page for our clinic and tryout schedule and for more information. There will be a $25 nonrefundable tryout fee.
Dues: Annual dues are currently set at $600 to cover the costs of competition (travel and practice uniforms, team registrations, referee and scorekeeper certification, equipment, administrative fees, and other organization costs). Please note, if the gym facilities begin charging for use, each team may incur an additional share of the rental costs.
The 2024-2025 payment plan will be:
- December 1st $200
- January 1st $100
- February 1st $100
- March 1st $100
- April 1st $100
Please note, you must be in good-standing with WGVBA to be able to use a payment plan. If you have ended a prior season without full payment of dues, you will need to pay the first $300 by December 1st and the final $300 by February 1st to participate and restore your good-standing.
Teams: we anticipate being able to offer 6 teams from 4th grade through high school. Each team should have between 10-12 players. Athletes can only play with their age division and older.
To determine their age division, the Lone Star Volleyball Region uses their age as of July 1, 2025. For example, if your athlete will be 13 next July because she doesn’t turn 14 until September, then she qualifies for 13U and above.
We always try to keep athletes within their age division, but there may be circumstances where we ask a player to play up in another division.
