WGVBA Carrizo Member Agreement

For the consideration given by the payment of annual dues described below, WGVBA offers Member full membership in its 2024-2025 USAV Competitive Travel Team program. Member agrees to be bound to the following terms: 1) make timely payments until all annual dues are paid in full; 2) abide by the rules set out in the WGVBA Players' Policy Manual posted above, including, but not limited to, a) timely responding to requests for necessary information, b) maintaining updated contact information with club director and coaches, and c) remaining at tournaments until entire team is released by coach after all referee obligations have been completed; 3) refrain from participating with another USAV club team during the competitive season unless Member has received approval from Club Director and Lone Star Region Commissioner; and 4) abide by all USAV code of conduct terms and code of ethics rules. *

Failure to abide by these rules will result in disciplinary actions, including less playing time and/or suspensions that must be served at tournaments that may not be avoided by absence. If Member fails to abide by the terms of this agreement, WGVBA also may elect to terminate this agreement and expel Member from its 2024-2025 Travel Team program. Member agrees to remain responsible for all contractual obligations despite any termination for cause. This agreement also may be terminated with the consent of Member and Club director, which will not be unreasonably withheld. *

Member agrees to abide by the Lone Star Region Spectator Code Conduct. In addition to other provisions in that Code, Member will not 1) harass or intimidate officials; 2) coach child from bleachers or sidelines; or 3) criticize child's coach or teammates. *

Member agrees to pay in full any past due balance within twenty-four hours of accepting this agreement. *

Annual dues will be $600. This amount may be reduced by fundraising credits, sponsorships, or other club credits. Annual dues cover competition and practice gear, USAV Lone Star region registration costs, referee and scorekeeper certifications, team costs, 5 tournament entry fees, and administrative and equipment costs. *

WGVBA offers a payment plan requiring an initial payment of $200 by December 1, 2024, and $100 on the 1st of January, February, March, and April. If Member fails to make a timely payment, the athlete will not be allowed to participate in any club activity, practice, strength training, fundraising, or tournament. *
