Wintergarden Volleyball Academy depends on the generosity of others to offer its programs to local athletes. Since establishing the organization in 2018, we’ve had outstanding community support. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, all direct donations may be recognized and/or claimed for federal tax purposes.
The organization has benefited from its annual letter-writing campaign to local companies. Each year, the Academy solicits donations from local companies and tends to raise substantial funds to lower the costs of participation.
Likewise, for the past two years the Academy has engaged in the annual “Giving Tuesday” fundraising event by creating a Facebook fundraiser on the first Tuesday of December. This event has also raised substantial funds to assist our local families with the financial burdens of youth sports.
Many of our athletes also receive individual sponsorships from family, friends, and local businesses. Our club is built on the principle of providing opportunities to our youth without limit.
